Instructional Technology Research List

Instructional technology is the digital tools and media used for teaching, from captioned video to adaptive learning programs. This reading list gathers research showing how, when chosen with purpose, these tools expand access, communication, and learning for deaf and hard of hearing students. Use it to ground decisions about which tools to adopt, to support proposals and funding requests, and to explain to colleagues and families why thoughtful technology choices, not technology for its own sake, can strengthen access and outcomes.
