Home-Based Services Research List (Birth to Three)

Home-based early intervention means supporting a Deaf or hard of hearing baby or toddler and their family right in their own home and daily routines. Use this research list to ground that work in evidence. It gathers studies on family-centered services delivered in natural settings, coaching that builds caregiver knowledge and confidence, the value of early ASL access, and the role of Deaf mentors and community connections. Use it to guide program planning, staff learning, or conversations with families about what the research shows.
