Curriculum Research List

This reading list gathers research on ASL/English bilingual curriculum, the plan of what and how students are taught across a program. It includes work on literacy instruction, bilingual language development, and the idea that skills in one language support growth in the other. Use it to ground curriculum decisions in evidence, to guide the design of lessons and materials, and to explain to colleagues and families why a well-designed bilingual curriculum supports the academic achievement, literacy, and language growth of deaf and hard of hearing students.
