Tele-Practice Provider Checklist (Birth to Three)

Tele-practice is early intervention delivered by video, where you coach and support a family from a distance. Use this checklist to make virtual visits secure, accessible, and family-centered. It asks whether you use approved private platforms, confirm consent in accessible formats, help families with technology, and set up your video so hands and face are clearly visible for ASL. It also covers coaching through observation, modeling, and responsive feedback; documenting each session clearly; sharing simple routine-based strategies families can use between visits; and coordinating with the team on safety and referrals.
